The Met office foresees comparatively more rainfall over the next few days in five divisions of the country. Light to moderate rain is also likely in other regions. The forecast was issued on Sunday morning (13 July).

According to the forecast valid until Monday morning (14 July), many places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and a few places in Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds. Additionally, moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places across the country. Daytime temperatures may decrease by 1-2 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures may fall slightly.

In the 24-hour forecast from Tuesday morning (15 July), most places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and many places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chattogram divisions are likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds. Moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur at some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Day and night temperatures across the country are expected to remain nearly unchanged.

The 24-hour forecast from Wednesday morning (16 July) mentions similar conditions, with most places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and many places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chattogram divisions likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds. Moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Day and night temperatures may decrease slightly across the country.

On Thursday (17 July), many places in Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and a few places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barisal divisions may see light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty winds. Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places across the country. Day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged.

According to the extended five-day forecast, rainfall activity may decrease.
