HONOR Bangladesh has unveiled its Robot Phone in Bangladesh, marking the company’s move beyond traditional smartphones towards an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven connected technology ecosystem.

The device was introduced at HONOR Connect, held at the United Convention Centre in Dhaka, where HONOR Bangladesh also unveiled its new logo and ‘Dare to Be’ philosophy.

The Robot Phone features a built-in robotic gimbal mechanism that allows its camera to physically move and track subjects while the phone remains stationary. HONOR said the technology is designed to automatically follow moving subjects, reducing the need for separate camera stabilisation equipment in certain shooting scenarios.

The device combines AI-powered subject tracking, Air Motion and 360-degree subject tracking features with imaging technology developed through HONOR’s collaboration with ARRI to enhance colour tuning and cinematic imaging capabilities.

The company demonstrated the Robot Phone as a tool for content creators and filmmakers, with its robotic gimbal and AI tracking system designed to keep subjects within the frame during movement.
