Miss World Bangladesh 2026 Samanzar Sayeed has secured a place among the top 24 contestants worldwide in the “Beauty With a Purpose” segment of the Miss World 2026 competition.
She has also been selected among the top six contestants from Asia in the category, according to a media release issued by Miss World Bangladesh.
Samanzar is representing Bangladesh at the 73rd Miss World Festival in Vietnam, which is being held as part of the organisation’s 75th anniversary celebrations.
Her “Beauty With a Purpose” project, titled Hygiene for Health Bangladesh, focuses on promoting better hygiene practices across the country.
The nationwide initiative highlights personal, hand, food, oral, menstrual and environmental hygiene, along with access to safe water.
According to Miss World Bangladesh, the campaign aims to work with NGOs, educational institutions, youth organisations and volunteers to encourage young people to promote improved hygiene practices within their communities.
Samanzar was crowned Miss World Bangladesh 2026 on 11 July before travelling to Vietnam to represent the country at the international competition.
The grand finale of Miss World 2026 is scheduled to take place on 5 September.
