Shah Rukh Khan and Nagarjuna Akkineni could be heading for an intriguing box office clash, with their upcoming films reportedly eyeing the same release date.
Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited action entertainer King, directed by Siddharth Anand, is reportedly set to release alongside Nagarjuna’s milestone project, tentatively titled King100.
The latter marks Nagarjuna’s 100th film as a lead actor.
The potential clash has already caught attention because of the shared “King” connection.
Shah Rukh has long been known as the “King” of Bollywood, while Nagarjuna is also popularly associated with the title among Telugu cinema audiences.
If both films retain the same release date, moviegoers could witness a rare “King vs King” box office battle between two of Indian cinema’s biggest stars, representing the Hindi and Telugu industries.
King is among Shah Rukh’s most anticipated upcoming projects and is expected to be a major action spectacle under Anand’s direction.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna’s King100 carries additional significance as it celebrates his landmark 100th film as a lead actor, making its release an important milestone in his career.
However, both projects are still some time away from release, and their schedules could change.
Neither film’s makers have officially confirmed a clash between the two projects yet.
