The three-day 3rd BKSP Cup Gymnastics Competition 2026 concluded successfully at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) premises.
Host institution BKSP emerged as the team champions in both the boys’ and girls’ categories after displaying extraordinary skill and prowess.
BKSP informed the details in a press release on Friday.
Quantum Cosmo School and College, Bandarban, secured the runners-up trophy in the tournament, which also saw participation from the Dhaka District Sports Association. A total of 50 gymnasts participated in the event.
The host institution dominated the podium, finishing with a total of 10 gold, 12 silver, and 8 bronze medals.
In the boys’ division, which featured 10 events, BKSP athletes secured 4 gold, 7 silver, and 5 bronze medals. Their performance in the girls’ division was even more clinical, sweeping 6 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze medals across 6 events.

Quantum Cosmo School and College finished their campaign with a total of 6 gold, 2 silver, and 7 bronze medals. Their boys’ team performed notably well, earning 6 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals, while their girls’ team added 1 silver and 4 bronze medals to the tally.
BKSP’s Banaphuli Chakma was named the Best Gymnast of the competition. She achieved a perfect record, winning gold medals in all four events she contested.
BKSP Director (Training) Colonel Md Golam Mabud Hasan attended the closing and prize-giving ceremony as the chief guest. He distributed trophies, medals, and certificates among the winners.
The ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Director (Training) of BKSP, the Chief Coach of the Gymnastics Department, and other officials and coaches.
Organisers expressed optimism that the BKSP Cup would play a vital role in fostering a competitive spirit, confidence, and skill development among the country’s emerging gymnasts, ultimately contributing to the advancement of gymnastics at the national level.
