Covid claims one more life, 10 new cases reported

The country reported one more death and 10 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours till Friday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

According to the latest DGHS figures, the death toll has risen to 29,519 and total number of confirmed cases in Bangladesh has reached 20,52,073.

A total of 528 samples were tested during the latest reporting period of 24 hours, resulting in a daily positivity rate of 4.02 per cent.

The overall positivity rate stands at 13.04 per cent till now, while the fatality rate based on detected cases remains at 1.44 per cent.
