Popular family drama series ‘Eta Amaderi Golpo’ is set to conclude with an extended finale, as its 52nd and final episode will run for 92 minutes, according to an official announcement from the production team.
Director and writer Muhammad Mustafa Kamal Raj confirmed that the mega episode will feature an unexpected twist, with musicians Arfin Rumi and Dola Rahman appearing on screen as themselves. The duo, who previously collaborated on the series’ title track, will make a special appearance in the closing chapter.
Arfin Rumi composed and performed the title song of the series, while Dola Rahman featured in a duet version written by Mahmud Manjur. The final episode is expected to visually integrate the popular track into the narrative, with the artists likely performing within a key sequence.
The series has been airing on Channel i every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:30 pm since November last year, while episodes are also released on YouTube via the Cinemawala channel.
The production team has also revised the release schedule for the final stages. Episode 51 will now be released on Thursday, May 7 at 12 noon, instead of the previously scheduled Wednesday slot, while the grand finale will air on May 8 at 3:00 pm.
Since its debut, Eta Amaderi Golpo has maintained strong popularity, consistently drawing large audiences and record-breaking online viewership. The 50th episode recently crossed the milestone of one crore views in a remarkably short time, reflecting its wide reach both at home and abroad.
Inspired by the Pakistani serial Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, the series has been adapted to reflect Bangladeshi family culture. Its storytelling, production quality and ensemble cast have contributed to its sustained success, with viewers strongly engaging with the characters Fahad, Sameer, Mehreen and Saira.
The cast includes Irfan Sajjad, Khairul Basar, Keya Payel, Sunerah Binte Kamal, Nader Chowdhury, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, MNU Raju, Mukit Zakaria, Deacon Noor, Israt Athi and Aditi Zaman Sneha. Cinematography is handled by Aditya Monir.
The series also features additional songs, including ‘Shey Manle’, performed by Shahriar Marcel, and ‘Jani Na’, composed and sung by Pratyay Khan with a duet by Sushmita.
