Singer Mila Islam has lent her voice to a high-energy track in the upcoming film ‘Malik’, with Bidya Sinha Mim stepping into the spotlight for its dance sequence. The number was recently filmed at BFDC in Dhaka, where Mim performed alongside co-star Arifin Shuvoo.
The pairing marks a reunion for Mim and Shuvo, who previously shared the screen in ‘Shapludu’. Their latest collaboration comes after a gap of several years, with both actors reportedly dedicating extensive time to preparation.
Sources close to the production say Mim underwent weeks of training that included performance, movement and action work, while Shuvo followed a similarly rigorous routine.
Although filming for Malik has been underway since late last year, the project remains officially under wraps, with the director and production team yet to reveal detailed information.
The film is helmed by Saif Chandan, who has also kept details about the song and its release undisclosed.
Mila’s involvement adds a musical highlight to the film, while the production team is said to be aiming for a theatrical release during Eid-ul-Azha.
