The body of Bangladeshi PhD student Zamil Ahamed Limon, who was killed in United States, has arrived in Bangladesh.
An Emirates Airlines flight carrying the remains landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 8:47am on Monday.
The aircraft departed Orlando on Saturday night local time and reached Dhaka via Dubai. Limon’s body will be handed over to his family.
His parents and relatives had been waiting at the airport since morning.
Limon and fellow Bangladeshi PhD student Nahida Sultana Bristy of the University of South Florida went missing on 16 April. Eight days later police recovered Limon’s body.

With family consent, the Bangladesh Consulate requested release of her remains from the Pinellas County Medical Examiner’s Office, and officials are working to repatriate her at the earliest.
Limon was last seen at the off‑campus apartment he shared with murder suspect Hisham Abugharbieh, 26.
