Tasnia Farin has shared a personal reflection on her evolving relationship with makeup, saying she now prefers a more natural appearance in her everyday life despite the expectations that come with her profession.
Farin, who began her career in television before moving into film, took to social media where she wrote that she had little interest in makeup during her early years. She recalled that she would occasionally use her mother’s lipstick on special occasions, while otherwise keeping her grooming routine minimal.
The actress noted that her understanding of makeup developed after entering the entertainment industry, where she has worked across both simple and more stylised on-screen looks. While she enjoys experimenting with different appearances for roles, she said she feels most comfortable when she is bare-faced or wearing very light makeup.
Farin also pointed out a contrast between her personal preferences and professional environment, saying there is often an unspoken pressure to maintain a polished image while working.
Despite this, Farin emphasised on her decision to move away from such expectations in her personal life and focus on what feels authentic and comfortable for her.
In her post, Farin added that her intention goes beyond makeup alone, suggesting a broader effort to prioritise self-confidence and personal ease over external standards.
