International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Bangladesh launched a book titled “Made in Nepal – Lessons in Business Building from the Land of Everest”, highlighting entrepreneurship, resilience and business growth in emerging economies.
The book, written by CG Corp Global Chairman Binod K Chaudhury, was unveiled at a press conference held at a city hotel on Saturday.
ICC Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman said the publication reflects the journey of building a global business from modest beginnings and offers lessons relevant to countries like Bangladesh and Nepal.
He said the book highlights key aspects of perseverance, innovation, adaptability and long-term vision in business development.
The publication also captures the broader evolution of entrepreneurship in emerging markets, showing how businesses can grow despite structural challenges and global uncertainties.
ICC Bangladesh said such knowledge-sharing initiatives are important at a time when economies are facing supply chain disruptions, financial volatility and climate challenges.
The organisation said entrepreneurship remains a key driver of inclusive growth and sustainable development, particularly in South Asia where human capital and business potential remain strong.
ICC Bangladesh, the national committee of the Paris-based International Chamber of Commerce, brings together businesses, banks and trade bodies to promote trade facilitation, policy reform and global market integration.
The global ICC network represents more than 45 million companies across over 170 countries and works with organisations such as the United Nations, G20 and World Trade Organization to support open markets and cross-border cooperation.
ICC Bangladesh said the book is expected to inspire entrepreneurs, policymakers and academics, while encouraging business leaders to think globally and strengthen competitiveness in the region.
