TECNO has launched the CAMON 50 Series and POVA Curve 2 5G in Bangladesh, expanding its smartphone portfolio with a focus on photography, battery capacity and AI-driven features.

The company said the launch marks a new phase in its local expansion strategy, combining camera performance, large-capacity batteries and software support across multiple price segments.

The CAMON 50 features a 50MP main camera with Sony LYT-700C OIS sensor, alongside an 8MP ultrawide and 32MP front camera. It carries IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance and supports FlashSnap technology for zoom photography.

The handset comes with a 6.78-inch 144Hz 1.5K display with ProXDR eye-care technology and runs on the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor. It houses a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging and holds MIL-STD-810 durability certification.

TECNO said the device includes its AI suite featuring Ella assistant, AI Image-to-Video generator, 3D PhotoSpace and AI LightMaster 2.0. The model will receive three major Android OS updates and up to five years of security updates, along with 50GB free TECNO Cloud storage annually for three years.

The CAMON 50 is priced at Tk30,999 for the 8GB plus 128GB variant and Tk34,999 for the 8GB plus 256GB variant and is now available at TECNO outlets nationwide.

The CAMON 50 Ultra 5G carries a 50MP Sony LYT-700C OIS main camera with a 1 over 1.56-inch sensor, a 50MP 3x optical telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide lens. It supports AI 60x SuperZoom, FlashSnap in Zoom, Live Photo and underwater photography.

Powered by the 4-nanometre MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, the device features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED 1.5K display with 144Hz refresh rate. It includes IP68, IP69 and IP69K certification and MIL-STD-810 durability standard.

The model is backed by a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging and offers three major Android OS updates and five years of security patches. It will be available in 8GB plus 256GB and 12GB plus 256GB variants and is expected to reach the market soon.

The POVA Curve 2 5G introduces an 8,000mAh battery within a 7.42mm body, supported by 45W Super Charge and Bypass Charge technology.

It features a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with 2,304Hz PWM dimming and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. The device runs on MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor and includes G1 dual signal chipset and SE1 WiFi chipset.

The phone carries a 50MP main camera and a 13MP selfie camera, along with AI noise cancellation for messaging and streaming applications. It also includes Ella 2.0 AI assistant, AI Writing and background editing tools.

With IP64 certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, the device supports two Android version updates and three years of security patches.

The POVA Curve 2 5G is priced at Tk36,999 and is now available at TECNO outlets nationwide.

TECNO said the new devices reinforce its strategy to deliver flagship-level features across different price segments in Bangladesh.
