T.K. Group announces ‘Pusti Verses of Light – Season 2’

T.K. Group has officially announced the second season of the Islamic reality show and Holy Quran recitation competition, ‘Pusti Verses of Light – Season 2,’  to be organised during the holy month of Ramadan 2026.

The announcement was made at a press conference held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka on Sunday.
The event was addressed by Mohammad Mofassel Haque, business director of T.K. Group, in the presence of renowned Islamic scholars, distinguished Ulama and representatives from the national media, according to a press release.

Speaking at the event, Haque said the initiative aims to provide a national platform for talented young Hafiz boys and girls from different regions of the country, while encouraging the practice and appreciation of the Holy Quran.

He expressed hope that the second season would gain wider popularity than its previous edition and reaffirmed that Pusti would continue this Quran-centric initiative.

Almas Raisul Ghani, director (HR) of T.K. Group, also spoke at the programme, highlighting the importance of the initiative as part of the group’s broader social contributions.

He said the programme would remain one of T.K. Group’s memorable efforts in serving Islam.
Internationally renowned Qari and chief judge of “Pusti Verses of Light,” Sheikh Ahmad bin Yusuf Al-Azhari, was also present at the event.

He praised the initiative for inspiring children and youth to develop a strong attachment to the Holy Quran and commended T.K. Group for promoting Islamic values in society.

Talented young Hafiz from across the country will be able to participate in the preliminary audition rounds.
Based on assessments by experienced judges and respected Islamic scholars, selected contestants will advance to the main competition.

Participants in the regional auditions will receive attractive gifts from Pusti, while winners of the final round will be awarded prizes worth several hundred thousand taka along with other rewards.

The nationwide audition phase will begin on 22 December 2025. The main episodes will be aired daily throughout Ramadan from 5:00pm until just before the Maghrib Azan on Channel Nine, one of the country’s leading television channels.

Heads of sales, heads of business and senior officials from different units of T.K. Group also attended the press conference.
