Dhaka was shaken by another earthquake on Saturday evening, leaving three female students of Dhaka University (DU) injured.
Three students of Dhaka University’s Shamsunnahar Hall were injured after they rushed out of the building in panic during the earthquake.
Abdullah Al Minhaj, health affairs secretary of the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union, confirmed the matter to TIMES of Bangladesh. He said one of the students is feared to have suffered a broken leg, while the conditions of the other two have not yet been confirmed.
The injured students were taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for primary treatment.
The university administration has not yet issued any statement regarding the incident.
This is the third tremor to strike the nation in recent days, heightening concern among residents and students.
