Three young men were killed Friday evening in a collision between two motorcycles on the Naogaon–Bogura road at Baromile in Bogura’s Kahaloo upazila.
The victims were identified as Rahim, 21, son of Abul Kalam Azad; Apurba, 18, son of Yusuf; and Prem, 20, son of Suruj. They were close friends and residents of Khans Naogaon Moholla in Naogaon municipality, UNB reports.
Sabuj Hossain, warehouse inspector at Kahaloo Fire Service, said the crash occurred around 6:30pm when their motorcycle collided with another bike heading toward Bogura.
The trio died on the spot, while another rider was injured and taken to hospital.
Police later recovered the bodies and sent them to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, said Bajendranath, sub‑inspector of Kahaloo Police Station.
