Police have arrested 1,831 people across the country during a special operation. The information was revealed in a press release sent from the Police Headquarters on Friday.
The release stated 1,233 individuals wanted in cases or under warrants were arrested in the special operation nationwide during the past 24 hours. An additional 598 people were arrested in other incidents, bringing the total arrests to 1,831.
During the operation, police found two single-barrel guns, two pipe guns, eight cartridge shells, six rounds of ammunition, and three LG firearms.
Police Headquarters also confirmed the special operation will continue.
