After the hearing, the judge rejected the bail and ordered them to be sent to jail. Previously, on Friday, they were arrested by police while trying to flee after the procession.

According to the First Information Report (FIR) of the case, on Friday, at 2:50pm, the accused, members of Chhatra League and Awami League, held a procession in front of Rupayan Tower under Ramna Police Station in the capital.

They chanted various anti-government slogans, attempted to invigorate the activities of their banned organisations, and engaged in propaganda aimed at conspiring against and harming the government and the state, thereby committing an offense under the Anti-Terrorism Act. Regarding this incident, police filed a case at Ramna Police Station yesterday.
