British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly has been found not guilty of rape charges by an Australian court, following an 11-day trial in Perth, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
A jury cleared the 30-year-old performer, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, of three counts of sexual penetration without consent.
However, he was found guilty of two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.
The jury could not reach a verdict on three additional rape charges, according to the BBC.
Barrientos will remain on bail until August, when the court will determine his sentencing date.
Prosecutors will also decide whether they will pursue the unresolved rape charges after the hung jury verdicts.
Barrientos faced allegations of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman after performing at a nightclub in Perth in 2024.
He had denied all charges, including six counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of strangulation.
During the trial, Barrientos told the court that he was attracted to the woman after meeting her at his concert.
He said he had placed his hand on her waist but denied touching her breasts or putting his hands inside her clothing.
He also told the court that the pair had a positive interaction before going to his hotel and said his security guard took her phone away as a standard privacy measure.
The woman told the court that the encounter began consensually but later became violent after she asked Barrientos to stop.
She alleged that he bit her neck, cheek and breast, causing bruising and swelling.
Barrientos is best known as a member of the Beta Squad, a group of YouTube creators known for comedy content.
He has built a large online following, with more than 1.7 million subscribers on YouTube and 2.4 million followers on Instagram. He has also hosted several BBC Three programmes.
