Yash became emotional while thanking his wife, Radhika Pandit, for supporting him through the demanding making of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.
Speaking at the film’s Bengaluru trailer launch, as reported by NDTV, Yash said the project pushed him far beyond his comfort zone. He also joked about how difficult it was to be associated with him before turning serious about Radhika’s support.
“I want to thank my wife. It’s not easy to be associated with me,” he said.
Yash said the film required around 200 days of shooting and involved multiple looks and an intense schedule. He acknowledged that Radhika travelled with him and managed the difficulties that came with the production.
“She has managed with a lot of difficulty. She used to travel. She’s somehow been a big support for me. Thank you so much,” he said.
Yash said he wanted to create something meaningful by stepping beyond his comfort zone and delivering the right content. Earlier, he had praised director Geetu Mohandas and producer Venkat K Narayana for their passion and support.
“Nothing will go for waste,” he said, reflecting on the sacrifices behind the film.
