Bangladeshi technology startup Xephyr Labs has introduced Lattu.ai, a free artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed to provide accurate information and guidance for Bangladeshi students seeking higher education overseas.
Tailored specifically for Bangladeshi students, the platform offers one-click access to information on more than 3,000 world-renowned universities across over 18 countries, along with details on more than 800 subjects, 100-plus international scholarships, accommodation options, eligibility criteria, application rules, timelines, costs, and addresses to assist them in making realistic and well-informed decisions.
The initiative comes as over 50,000 Bangladeshi students pursue higher education abroad every year. According to UNESCO, the figure reached 52,799 in 2023, which is nearly ten times higher than in 2010, and continues to rise, reads a press release.
However, students and parents frequently struggle with fragmented or insufficient information from education fairs, blogs, or scattered sources, resulting in confusion and misguided decisions. Lattu.ai was established out of the determination to end this uncertainty.
The visionaries behind Lattu.ai are successful Bangladeshi technologists with professional experience at global IT giants, including Microsoft, Disney, Google, and Amazon. Having themselves excelled in higher education abroad, they are committed to solving the information gap faced by students at home.
Commenting on the launch, Co-founder Pallab Mahmud, a Software Engineer with experience at tech giant Microsoft, stated, “We wanted to create a platform where students can easily plan their higher studies and research abroad.

Key features of the platform include the AI Journey Planner, which creates personalised study abroad plans based on goals, budget, academic background, and preferences.
It also features a Country Explorer providing comparative insights into costs, processes, and risks across destinations; a Scholarship Hub offering centralised access to diverse scholarship opportunities; and an Application Tracker to monitor step-by-step progress from preparation to arrival abroad.
Moreover, the platform incorporates a Community Forum for peer-to-peer exchange of advice and experiences, as well as a News Section delivering updates on visa policies and regulatory changes.
