Bangladeshis searched TikTok most in 2025 for celebrities, sports stars, travel destinations, television dramas and major global and domestic moments. Footballers Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal, destinations such as Dubai and Jamuna Future Park, and events like Ballon d’Or 2025 topped search interest on the platform.

TikTok released its list of top searched words in Bangladesh for 2025 on 30 December, showing that learning and discovery-related searches grew faster than entertainment-led queries during the year.

Learning-related searches recorded the strongest growth. Searches linked to LearnOnTikTok rose 66 per cent year on year, the highest increase among all major content tags. Users increasingly searched for short explainers, tutorials and skill-based videos.
