Sultan Salauddin Tuku, State Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock, and Food, has said the government will begin work on introducing a farmer card as promised.
He made the remarks on Wednesday while speaking to reporters at the Secretariat on the first working day of the new government.
“We will start working on the farmer card in line with our commitment,” said Salauddin Tuku.
He also said he would meet with officials of the three ministries under his charge to set priorities and begin work afresh.
The state minister further sought cooperation from journalists in carrying forward the initiatives.
