vivo has unveiled its new smartphone Y31d and launched a Ramadan-themed Eid anthem in collaboration with popular artistes Xefer and Muza, aiming to connect with young consumers during the holy month.
The company said in a press release on Thursday that the initiative marks the beginning of its Ramadan campaign, blending music and technology to reflect the spirit of togetherness that defines the season.
Ramadan in Bangladesh carries a distinct rhythm, with reflective days followed by lively evenings after iftar, when families gather, friends reconnect and preparations for Eid gather pace.
To capture those emotions, vivo has partnered with Xefer and Muza to produce an anthem portraying the calm of fasting hours, the relief after iftar and the growing excitement ahead of Eid.
The campaign seeks to engage young audiences who use music as a means of expression and connection, the release said.
Alongside the anthem, vivo introduced the Y31d in a “Festive Red” colour inspired by Eid celebrations and youth fashion trends in Bangladesh.
The handset features a 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery, which the company described as its largest to date, designed to support extended use during long Ramadan days and active nights.
vivo said further details on the device’s design, performance and specifications will be disclosed in phases following the anthem release.
The company said it operates research and development centres in several Chinese cities and maintains a global sales network across more than 60 countries and regions, serving over 400 million users worldwide.
