Vivo has launched its new Y500 smartphone in Bangladesh, featuring the largest 8,100mAh battery in its segment, said in a press release. Available from 14 July, the device promises enhanced performance for both daily use and entertainment, combining a high-capacity battery with a 6.83-inch 1.5K Infinity AMOLED display.
The Y500’s display includes an ultra-slim 1.35mm bezel, a 94.47% screen-to-body ratio, 2800 × 1260 resolution, 449 PPI, HDR10+ support, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. Dual stereo speakers and a 120Hz refresh rate deliver immersive audio and smooth visuals, while SGS Low Blue Light and Low Flicker certifications reduce eye strain.
Powered by a 6nm Ultra Smooth Processor scoring 680,000 on AnTuTu and running OriginOS 6, the phone provides seamless multitasking, gaming, and entertainment. The device also supports Reverse Charging and comes with a six-year battery health guarantee.
Vivo Y500 features a 50MP Sony main camera, 32MP front camera, AI features such as Change Sky, and IP69 underwater photography. Available in Pearl White and Midnight Blue, the design incorporates the Nebula Window Camera and Anti-Drop Armor for durability.
As part of a launch campaign from 14–20 July, buyers can choose between a smartwatch or up to nine months of 0% EMI. All purchases include an 18-month warranty, Silver Membership, and a special data bundle. Pricing starts at BDT 36,999 for the 128GB variant and BDT 43,999 for the 256GB variant.
