Television actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba has shared an emotional birthday tribute to his daughter, Anaya, posting photographs of her publicly as she turned one.
Marking the occasion on Thursday, 15 October, Apurba expressed how becoming a father had transformed his life. “You came into our lives a year ago, and everything in the world changed after that,” he wrote on Facebook.
The actor had announced his daughter’s birth on Facebook in December last year. For her first birthday, he shared photographs alongside a message celebrating “365 days of loving you” and wishing his “little princess” a happy first birthday.
Apurba also reflected on how quickly the past year had passed. “I honestly cannot understand how time has flown by. Exactly one year ago today, you came into our world and changed everything in the most beautiful way,” he wrote.
Watching Anaya grow, discover new things and fill their home with her sweetness and laughter has been one of the greatest blessings of his life, he said.
One photograph shows Anaya wearing a small crown. The image inspired a tender message from the actor, who described his daughter as the queen of their hearts.
“Watching you grow, seeing you discover new things, and watching our home fill with your sweetness and laughter is the greatest blessing of my life. Today, you may be wearing a little crown on your head, but from the very moment you were born, you have worn the crown of our hearts,” he wrote.
Apurba ended his message with a wish for his daughter’s future. “Happy first birthday, my sweet little girl! May your life be as bright, magical and precious as you are.”
Known for his role in the popular drama Boro Chele, Apurba married Shamma Dewan, who lives in the United States, on 3 September 2021 in a family-arranged ceremony. The couple welcomed Anaya four years after their marriage. The actor announced that he had become a father in December last year.
