Global smartphone brand vivo has launched the Y31d smartphone in Bangladesh, featuring the company’s largest battery in a handset and targeting users seeking extended gaming and daily performance.

The device became available nationwide from Thursday through authorised vivo outlets and brand stores, the company said in a press release.

The smartphone is equipped with a 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery, designed to deliver longer usage and improved power efficiency.

According to the company, the battery can support up to 13.2 hours of continuous gaming on a single charge.

The device also supports reverse charging, allowing users to power accessories such as gaming headsets or charge other smartphones.

The vivo Y31d runs on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor, designed to support gaming, video streaming and multitasking.

It features a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate intended to provide smoother visuals and enhanced gaming experience.

The smartphone also includes a Game Boost Mode and cooling system aimed at maintaining stable performance during extended gaming sessions.

vivo said the handset comes with a 50-month smooth experience certification intended to ensure stable performance during long-term use.

The Y31d is available in three variants, priced at Tk24,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, Tk26,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model and Tk31,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

Sales began on March 5 and early buyers will receive one year of free screen replacement under promotional terms and conditions, the company said.

Customers will also be eligible for a Grameenphone internet bundle offer as part of the launch promotion.
