A US official told The Wall Street Journal that the military targeted a major ammunition depot in Isfahan using 2,000-pound (907 kg) bunker-buster bombs, deploying a significant number of “penetrator munitions” in the strike.
The report followed US President Donald Trump sharing an uncaptioned video showing massive explosions in Isfahan, according to Al Jazeera.
