US-Bangla Airlines will resume flight operations on the Dhaka-Jashore route from 9 September, with two daily round-trip flights operating three days a week on Saturdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The airline will operate the route with its 72-seat ATR 72-600 aircraft, said a press release on Tuesday.
The morning flight will depart Dhaka at 9:30am and arrive in Jashore at 10:15am, with the return flight departing Jashore at 10:45am and arriving in Dhaka at 11:30am. The second flight will depart Dhaka at 4:45pm and arrive in Jashore at 5:30pm, with the return departure at 6:00pm arriving in Dhaka at 6:45pm.
The minimum one-way fare has been set at Tk5,749, with the minimum return fare at Tk11,498, including all taxes and surcharges.
US-Bangla began its journey on 17 July, 2014, with its first flight on the Dhaka-Jashore route. The airline currently operates regular domestic flights to Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Sylhet, Saidpur and Rajshahi.
The resumption of flights responds to the long-standing demand of the people of Greater Jashore and is expected to facilitate travel for business, education, medical treatment and tourism.
