United Finance PLC has reported a 6 percent year-on-year growth in net profit for the first nine months of 2025, showing resilience and steady performance amid a challenging non-bank financial sector environment.
The announcement came after the company’s 235th board meeting, where the third-quarter financial results were approved.
The company’s deposit portfolio grew by 4.25 percent compared to December 31, 2024.
Earnings per share stood at Tk 0.23 during the period.
As part of its digital transformation strategy, United Finance launched its new mobile application, UMA, offering a fully digital experience for depositors.
The app enables users to manage deposits and access services seamlessly, setting a new benchmark for customer engagement in the NBFI sector.
To enhance its strategic capacity, United Finance has partnered with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The collaboration focuses on expanding financing in the SME and affordable housing sectors, which are critical for inclusive economic growth.
United Finance Managing Director Mohammad Rafiqul Islam said the company’s performance reflects strong governance and customer-focused management.
“This year has been unlike any other for the NBFI sector. Our unwavering focus on customer service, strong governance, and employee development has helped us navigate the complexities of the current market,” he said.
He added that several strategic initiatives are underway and expressed confidence that they will yield meaningful returns in the coming year.
Company officials said United Finance will continue prioritising digital innovation, financial inclusion, and customer trust to strengthen its position as one of the country’s leading NBFIs.
