Trust Bank PLC has launched a Dynamic Bangla QR payment facility for the Universal Pension Scheme to enable easier and digitally driven pension contributions. The service was unveiled at a ceremony held at Hotel Sheraton, Banani, Dhaka, on Tuesday.

Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury attended the event as chief guest, while Trust Bank PLC Vice Chairman Major General Mohd Hossain Al Morshed, ndc, afwc, psc, and Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Dr Md Kabir Ahmed, National Pension Authority Executive Chairman Dr Md Suratuzzaman and Trust Bank Managing Director & CEO Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury were present, along with senior officials and clients of the bank.

The newly introduced Dynamic Bangla QR facility will allow individuals to make contributions to the Universal Pension Scheme through a secure digital payment process, improving access to the government’s pension initiative, Trust Bank said in a press release.

The bank said the initiative reflects its commitment to expanding financial inclusion, promoting digital payment solutions and supporting the government’s vision of building an inclusive and digitally empowered financial ecosystem.

The launch ceremony brought together officials from Bangladesh Bank, National Pension Authority, Trust Bank and its partners at Hotel Sheraton, Banani, Dhaka.
