United Commercial Bank (UCB) PLC organised an online Quran recitation competition titled “Quraner Dhoni” during Ramadan through its Shariah-based banking service UCB Islamic, drawing participation from across the country.

The initiative, announced in press release on Sunday, aimed to promote the significance of the holy month and encourage wider engagement with Quran recitation.

More than 500 participants registered online and submitted video recordings, from which a jury panel shortlisted ten finalists for the final round held at the bank’s head office.
