Customers who purchase BYD vehicles from BYD Bangladesh will get access to UCB Auto Loans, special financing benefits and faster loan processing and disbursement, following a memorandum of understanding signed recently between United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) and BYD Bangladesh.
UCB Auto Loan customers will receive special offers and preferential facilities on selected BYD vehicles.
The partnership will also allow customers to apply for UCB credit cards and access other Retail Banking products and services.
The MoU was signed at BYD Bangladesh’s corporate head office, said a press release on Thursday.
Representing UCB were Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Business Division Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of CRMD (Retail & SME) SM Moinul Hossain, Executive Vice President and Head of Dhaka Metro Region Masudur Rahman Sonnamot and Executive Vice President and Head of Product Ahmed Masudul Goni.
Representing BYD Bangladesh were Managing Director Amid Sakif Khan, Chief Financial Officer Ferdows Ur Rahman, FCA, Head of Business Development Methun Bhattacharjee and Head of Sales Fahmid Ferdous.
BYD Bangladesh currently has eight branches in Dhaka, Chattogram and Bogura, with four more expected to open soon.
