Trust Bank has been honoured with the “Top Ten Remittance Award 2026” for securing a position among the country’s leading remittance-collecting banks.
The award was presented on 12 April, 2026 at the opening ceremony of the World Conference Series 2026, titled “Branding Bangladesh Beyond Bangladesh”, organised by the Center for Non-Resident Bangladeshis at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka, reads a press release.
The award was received by Md Kamal Hossain Sarker, deputy managing director and head of Islamic Banking Division, on behalf of Trust Bank PLC.
The programme was presided over by Mr M S Sekil Chowdhury, chairperson of the Center for NRB. Zahir Uddin Swapan, MP and Minister of Information and Broadcasting, attended as the chief guest.
Special guests included Shama Obaed, MP and state minister for Foreign Affairs; Nurul Haque Nur, MP and state minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment; and Major General (retd.) Fazle Elahi Akbar, former force commander of UN Peacekeeping Forces
Distinguished personalities from the business, banking and various professional sectors attended the event.
