US President Donald Trump said it was unlikely the shooting was linked to the war on Iran.
“It’s not going to deter me from winning the war in Iran. I don’t know if that had anything to do with it, I really don’t think so, based on what we know,” he told reporters at a press conference.
Earlier, however, Trump had remarked “you never know” if it could be connected, adding that investigators were working to determine the motive for the shooting, reports Al Jazeera.
