Proceedings of the International Crimes Tribunal-1 and International Crimes Tribunal-2 were adjourned on Monday in honour of defence lawyer Aminul Gani Titto.
Advocate Aminul Gani Titto died while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital, according to officials.
Both tribunals expressed deep condolences over his death and paid tribute to his professional contributions.
The tribunals said he served as an experienced and dedicated lawyer and made significant contributions to the justice system. His professionalism, courtesy and commitment to the legal profession will be remembered by colleagues and others in the legal fraternity.
The tribunals also prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and expressed sympathy to his bereaved family members, relatives, colleagues and well-wishers.
In respect of his memory, the functioning of both tribunals was adjourned.
