Trevor Noah will host the Grammy Awards for the final time when he returns to front the 2026 ceremony on Sunday, February 1. The Recording Academy and CBS have confirmed the Emmy-winning comedian’s farewell appearance, bringing to a close a hosting run that began during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ceremony will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will air live on CBS. Alongside hosting duties, Noah will also serve as an executive producer, continuing the expanded role he has taken on in recent years. He first hosted the Grammys in 2021, when the awards faced major production challenges due to global health restrictions.
Ben Winston of Fulwell Entertainment, the show’s executive producer, praised Noah’s impact on the ceremony. He said Noah’s intelligence, humour and genuine passion for music reshaped the broadcast and strengthened its connection with artists and audiences alike.
The 2026 ceremony will also mark the Grammys’ final broadcast on CBS, ending a partnership that has lasted since 1973. From next year, the awards will move to Disney platforms under a new 10-year deal announced in 2024. Viewers will still be able to watch this year’s show live and on demand on Paramount+, depending on their subscription plan.
Kendrick Lamar leads this year’s nominations with nine nods. Lady Gaga follows with seven nominations, alongside producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut. Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Leon Thomas and engineer Serban Ghenea each earned six nominations, while Clipse, Doechii, SZA, Turnstile and Tyler, the Creator secured five each.
The Recording Academy will announce performers and presenters in the coming days. Fulwell Entertainment is producing the 2026 Grammy Awards, with Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, Jesse Collins and Trevor Noah serving as executive producers.
