Bangladeshi-American music duo Ryan Taj and Promi Taj will perform at a special ‘Musical Night’ in New York on 27 September.
The event will begin at 7pm at Queens Palace and will be organised by Live Fusion Entertainment, presented by Utsab Group.
The duo said they want to create an enjoyable evening for expatriate Bangladeshis while helping younger generations growing up abroad stay connected to Bangla music and culture.
Ryan and Promi have been performing Bangla songs across North America and other parts of the world for years. They released the albums Priyota in 2015 and Priyotoma in 2017, alongside their solo releases.
Ryan also works in information technology and cybersecurity, while Promi received musical training from Kaveri Das, daughter of musician Ram Kanai Das.
