Two factory workers were killed after being hit by a train while filming a TikTok video in Chollisha, Netrokona.
The accident occurred on Saturday evening near Chollisha Bazar along the Dhaka-Mohanganj railway line.
The victims have been identified as Akash Roy, 24, from Chhuriyapara village in Dinajpur, and Rasel Mia, 25, from Sherpur.
According to local residents, the Mohanganj Express, travelling from Dhaka, struck the men as they stood by the tracks filming TikTok video.
They were rushed to Netrokona Modern Sadar Hospital by locals but were pronounced dead on arrival by the attending doctors.
Officer-in-Charge of Netrokona Model Police Station, Md. Al Mamun Sarkar, confirmed the deaths and said the bodies have been handed over to the Mymensingh Railway Police.
