TP-Link Private Limited (SAARC) Managing Director Lynn Wang has expressed strong interest in launching large-scale investment and manufacturing operations in Bangladesh.
He said the globally recognised networking brand is actively exploring several initiatives under the government’s “Make in Bangladesh” vision by taking advantage of business-friendly policies.
Lynn Wang made the remarks at a programme held at Fortis Downtown Resort in the capital on Saturday night, where he attended as the chief guest.
The welcome address was delivered by Excel Technologies Limited Managing Director Goutam Saha.
Speaking at the event, Lynn Wang said TP-Link aims to ensure that every home, office, and business establishment remains connected through a reliable, fast, and secure network.
“TP-Link remains committed to Bangladesh’s digital transformation. We want customers to connect all their devices through one network, and all our innovations are focused on achieving that goal,” he said.
During the programme, TP-Link launched a new campaign titled “1 Goal 1 Network” ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
Under the campaign, customers purchasing products will have the opportunity to participate in weekly prize draws, with rewards ranging from televisions to a grand prize motorbike.
A major attraction at the event was the experience zone, where participants explored a range of new products from TP-Link and its sub-brands, including Omada, VIGI, Tapo, and Mercusys.
Leading information technology experts and business partners of Excel Technologies also attended the programme.
