The United States has bombed Iran for a tenth consecutive night, with blasts reported near Sirik, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Chabahar and Konarak.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said it launched retaliatory strikes on US assets in Bahrain and Kuwait in recent hours, claiming “massive fires” broke out aboard two tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, reports Al Jazeera.
President Donald Trump warned Tehran it would pay “many times over” for the deaths of American soldiers, after at least three US personnel were killed in the past week.
Meanwhile, Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen declared a maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia, raising fears of further disruption to global energy supplies.
In a statement via Tasnim news agency, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said its forces struck the Ahmed Al‑Jaber base, destroying an early‑warning radar, a missile‑defence radar, an FPS‑117 system, a Patriot battery and an air‑defence satellite link.
The group said the operation aimed to clear regional radar coverage ahead of further missile and drone attacks.
