Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon has warned that teachers who engage in other professions without prior government approval will face investigation and appropriate action.
The minister made the remarks on Friday while responding to questions from journalists before attending the monthly coordination and law-and-order meeting at his constituency office in Kachua Upazila Parishad in Chandpur.
“Teachers must obtain official permission before taking up any work outside teaching, as it is required under government regulations. Those who fail to comply will be subject to investigation,” Milon said.
The meeting was attended by officials from various government departments, heads of educational institutions, and local political leaders.
