Exploring that emotional question, director Mashrikul Alam brings a heartfelt story to the screen with his new standalone television drama, Amar Rajye Tumi.
The drama stars Tawsif Mahbub as Siam, Keya Payel as Noboni and Malaika Chowdhury as Brishti.
One of the major highlights of the production is the on-screen pairing of Tawsif Mahbub and Malaika Chowdhury, who are sharing the screen together for the first time.
The fresh pairing has already generated considerable interest among viewers.
Amar Rajye Tumi is scheduled to premiere on the Capital Drama YouTube channel on Friday (7 August).
Speaking about the project, director Mashrikul Alam said the drama is more than just a love story.
“Amar Rajye Tumi is not simply about romance. It is a story about emotions that people carry within themselves at different stages of life. Through this drama, I have tried to portray the feelings of memories, sacrifice, unfulfilled love and selfless affection. I hope viewers will be able to relate the story to their own lives,” he said.
The director expressed confidence that the drama’s emotional narrative, visual treatment and the chemistry between the cast will make Amar Rajye Tumi a touching viewing experience for audiences.
