BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will travel to northern Bangladesh on Saturday for the second phase of his election campaign.
According to BNP’s media cell, Tarique Rahman will attend several rallies across the region, traveling by helicopter.
As per his schedule, he will first address a rally in Thakurgaon at 11:30am, followed by another in Nilphamari at 1:30pm, and the final one in Birampur, Dinajpur, at 2:30pm.
This follows his first phase of campaigning on 29 January, when Rahman travelled by road through northern Bangladesh, holding rallies in Rajshahi, Naogaon, and Bogura.
The campaign continued on 30 January in Rangpur and on 31 January in Sirajganj and Tangail.
Earlier, on 22 January, Tarique Rahman launched his campaign in Sylhet, followed by rallies in Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Brahmanbaria, Kishoreganj, Narsingdi, and Narayanganj.
He then moved to Chittagong on 25 January, where he addressed rallies in Feni, Cumilla, and Narayanganj. On 27 January, the BNP chairman continued his tour in Mymensingh, Gazipur, and Dhaka’s Uttara.
To date, Tarique Rahman has addressed 24 election rallies across the country, in addition to two rallies in his own constituency of Dhaka-17, in Korail and Banani.
This second round of rallies marks an important part of BNP’s ongoing election campaign as they gear up for the upcoming general elections.
