BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will meet Islami Andolon Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Charmonai Pir) on Monday evening.
He will visit Syed Rezaul Karim’s residence for a courtesy meeting around 7pm.
BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan and Islami Andolon Bangladesh’s Central Publicity and Dawah Secretary Sheikh Fazlul Karim Maruf confirmed the matter.
Earlier, on Sunday evening, Tarique Rahman visited the residences of Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman and National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam.
According to analysts, such meetings of the BNP chief with opposition leaders after winning the 13th parliamentary election are sending a positive message in the country’s political arena.
