BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman inaugurated a Free Animal Clinic in the capital’s Banani area on Wednesday, aimed at providing free medical services for animals.
Set up by the Bangladesh Animal Welfare Association (BAWA), the clinic will offer free treatment, primary healthcare, and essential medical advice for animals.
At the inauguration, Tarique expressed his hope that the initiative will significantly contribute to safeguarding animal health and advancing animal welfare in Bangladesh.
The organisers stated that the clinic is designed to provide basic veterinary services to animal owners who may not be able to afford treatment costs.
