Tarique celebrates Eid with family at Gulshan residence

Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman spent Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday with his family at his residence in Gulshan, sharing lunch with close relatives including uncles, aunts, and other family members.

According to his additional press secretary, Atikur Rahman Ruman, the prime minister spent part of the day enjoying quality time with his family during the midday meal.

Earlier, Tarique Rahman, accompanied by his family, visited the state guesthouse Jamuna to exchange Eid greetings with diplomats and well-wishers.

He then proceeded to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar to pay respects at the graves of the late President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. Family members present included Syeda Shamila Rahman, widow of late Arafat Rahman Koko, his daughters Zahia and Zafia Rahman, Jubaida Rahman’s mother Syeda Iqbal Mand Banu, his sister Shahina Jaman, as well as Begum Khaleda Zia’s sister Selina Islam, her younger brother Shamim Iskandar, and other relatives.

After completing the visits, the prime minister returned to his Gulshan residence, where he exchanged Eid greetings with officials and staff, continuing the day’s celebrations in a warm and family-centered atmosphere.
