Rajshahi Warriors completed an easy chase to beat Dhaka Capitals by seven wickets in a BPL night game.

Rajshahi needed 132 to win. Openers Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Muhammad Wasim started fast. They scored freely in the first few overs. Seventeen runs came from the third over. The opening stand reached 38. Wasim fell after scoring 22 from 13 balls. Tamim stayed calm and batted with control. He reached a fine fifty. Rajshahi crossed the target without pressure.

Earlier, the match took place at Sylhet International Stadium. Dhaka won the toss and chose to bat. Openers Usman Khan and Abdullah Al Mamun gave a strong start. Dhaka scored 54 runs in the powerplay. The first wicket fell when Abdul Gaffar Saqlain dismissed Usman Khan. He made 41 from 27 balls.

After that, Dhaka lost wickets often. Saif Hassan went out for a golden duck. Abdullah Al Mamun and captain Mohammad Mithun could not settle. Mithun scored 13. Imad Wasim and Nasir Hossain tried to rebuild. The runs did not come fast enough. Nasir scored 24 from 27 balls with one four and one six. Binura Fernando took his wicket. Shamim Hossain failed to make an impact. Sabbir Rahman added 14 late runs. Dhaka were bowled out for 131.

Rajshahi bowlers controlled the innings. Abdul Gaffar Saqlain took four wickets. Ripon Mondol closed the innings with a hat trick in the final over.
