Singer Tamim Islam has released a new duet, ‘Priyo Kobita’, with popular vocalist Abanti Sithi.
Tamim has released songs regularly for several years and recently gained attention for a series of duets. His songs with Kona, Nishchup Brishti, Nodi and Atia Anisa have received a positive response from listeners.
‘Priyo Kobita’ features lyrics by Tarek Ananda, while Tamim composed, arranged and produced the song. It is now available on his YouTube channel.
“I have received a lot of love and praise for my released songs. This time, I sang with Sithi apa. I tried to give my best, and with her wonderful singing, I hope listeners will enjoy the song,” Tamim said.
Tamim completed a Nazrul Sangeet course at Chhayanaut. He said he wants to continue releasing songs regularly. He has composed around 40 songs so far, while his total released songs are close to 70.
The singer also dreams of establishing himself as a playback singer. To strengthen his musical foundation, he has enrolled in Chhayanaut’s Hindustani classical music course.
