Sub-registrars will be transferred to sub-registry offices in Dhaka district through a lottery on Tuesday in a move aimed at ensuring transparency in the transfer process.
The lottery will be held at 10:00am on 6 October at the conference room of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, following a decision by Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman.
Sub-registrars currently serving at sub-registry offices in different districts across the country will be selected through the lottery for designated posts at sub-registry offices in Dhaka district.
Md Asaduzzaman will be present during the lottery process.
The lottery-based transfer system is being introduced to ensure necessary administrative reform and discipline in sub-registry offices and to make property registration services easier, more orderly and free from harassment for the public.
