Bangladeshi heavy metal band Stentorian has released Opekhar Shesh Prohor, its latest single, continuing the band’s creative comeback following the release of Chaya Britto.
The new song explores the emotional weight of the final hour of waiting. It focuses on the fragile space between uncertainty and acceptance, where hope, loss, resilience and courage come together. Built around Stentorian’s signature heavy metal sound, the track combines powerful guitar riffs, soaring melodies, cinematic arrangements and emotionally driven songwriting.
The single features acclaimed drummer Mehmood Afridi Tony, whose performance adds energy and precision to the band’s sound. Guitarist and producer Wasiun Khan also appears as a guest musician, contributing a guitar solo that serves as one of the song’s emotional highlights while adding technical skill and melodic depth.
The accompanying music video expands on the song’s narrative through symbolic storytelling. It follows a solitary figure as the character moves through memory, longing and perseverance before arriving at self-discovery.
With Opekhar Shesh Prohor, Stentorian says it aims to demonstrate that its return is driven not by nostalgia, but by artistic growth, creative collaboration and a continued commitment to heavy metal. The band describes the release as another milestone in its evolving journey, reflecting the idea that every long journey reaches its final hour and every ending carries the promise of a new beginning.
STENTORIAN’s current line-up features Torsha Khan on lead vocals, James Kabir on guitar, synthesisers, keyboards and backing vocals, Tutul Rashid on guitar and Shams Alim Biswas on bass guitar. Featured musicians on the release include Mehmood Afridi Tony on drums and Wasiun Khan as guest guitarist.
